LATEST PUBLICATIONS FROM MOROCCO

[ Please keep in mind that many Maghrebi publications are produced in limited numbers. Order Now! ]

There are two biographical reference works worth of underlining in this newsletter.

One is the famous SALWAT AL ANFAS, considered for a long time as the major biographical reference in Morocco. Printed on the lithograph press for the first time in 1898 this three volume book is now available in the form of an edited modern version.

The second biographical reference is entitled LE MAROC POLITIQUE: GUIDE. This recent publication provides biographies of the Moroccan political elite: government ministers, heads of political and labor unions, parliament members and other political figures of the country. This large luxurious book which relies on text and picture is a useful and attractive guide to Morocco's political life.
