For the first time a 17th century polemical work about the status of Jews and Muslims of Jewish origin is edited from a rare Moroccan manuscript. Important text for the assessment of Muslim-Jewish relations, particularly in the city of Fes where Muslims of Jewish origin, or Bildiyin, continued to suffer from discrimination after centuries of Islamization.
