Is nationalism, the natural ideology of the nation-state, condemned to weaken and finally to disappear?

Abdallah Laroui says about this book, "I took the trouble to answer today the questions I had asked my elders back then. I thought it more appropriate to publish these responses separately under the title Istibana."  Alongside 'Le Nationalisme Marocain,' Laroui gives us two books, one scenario, one same issue: nationalism in general and Moroccan nationalism in particular.  We find the imprint of the historian and philosopher, but as he himself says, it was the historian of ideas who ultimately took the lead.
